Based on the hugely popular Gremlins movie, this is another adventure game from the prolific company, the trouble is, it isn't exactly hugely different from any of the other Scott Adams games, the parser is almost identical, and the layout just doesn't change! Having said that though, the writing is quite good, but if you've seen on then you've seen 'em all I'm afraid.

This game challenges you to escape the Waxworks which you fell asleep in. Its actually one of the better games because the setting is quite original. Unfortunately its not anymore detailed than the other 10 Mysterious Adventures!

Yawn, another collect the priceless object game, not too bad but not exactly a world beater either. Why can't they come up with something more detailed.

A strange adventure game, it seems to be completely consisting of a silly maze in a swamp! If you know how to get out and play some more of the game (i sincerely hope it gets better!) then mail me!

Set in medieval times, lots of 'dense woodland' and lots of very very familiar gameplay! Its not that these adventures are bad, they aren't, but they're all much the same thing with different objects.

Part two of identikit adventure game, very very sparse descriptions and lots of locations which seem to be there for no apparent reason whatsoever.

In this one you have to escape from a ship, its a sci-fi setting, which is nice, but it just looks and plays like all the other games.

I'm not exactly sure what you're supposed to do in this one, but it certainly looks very bland, less descriptions than usual, and if they didn't use the Mode 7 colour as well, this would be rubbish.

A quest to find treasure (how original). Not exactly a lot to choose from with these Mysterious Adventures is there!?

An interesting game in which you have to collect the jewels and find the princess who has been taken by the evil wizard. It's pretty standard adventure gaming stuff, and is put together much better than most, definitly worth a play if you like this sort of thing, but if you want real class then check out the Level 9 games.

Set in Greece this text adventure is amazingly just like all the other Mysterious adventures! Mysterious that isn't it!?

This is the first in a line of adventures created for Marvel comics, this one features you as the Incredible Hulk, and you have to, as usual get away from the people trying to hunt you down. Even though this game still lacks good description, it does have a nice storyline.

The second questprobe game, this time featuring Spiderman. You have to collect gems to score points, its very annoying though because of the sparseness of the descriptions the puzzles are hard to solve and you die a lot without any warning!

The third in the series, this features the four Marvel superheroes. Dr Doom has kidnapped Alicia Masters and you must free her. The best feature of this game is that you actually control two of the superheroes, and to switch you just type a command. This is quite an impressive feat, and it works well as it adds an extra element to the game.

A game by Brian Howarth about the famouse Robin Hood. The game opens with you trapped in a dungeon and you have to get out. It is quite a good tale, the Robin Hood myth is very open to such a game. Not really one of the best of the Adventuresoft games though.

Part 1 of an adventure in which you have to escape from a Savage Island, its an ok game, but has a real lack of atmosphere and detail.

Basically starts of where part 1 finished, more of the same, its not a very original set of games really.

Adventure set in a far off land, you must go on a voyage, its ok, but just about as good as the others.

Full of wizardy and magic this game is all about trying to get rid of the Sorceror, again its really just a case of same game different objective.

This game is set in the American South, I'm not exactly sure what you have to do (no instructions) but again it is very feature less, with not much to do, and hardly any objects in this game.

This is really a clone of the original 'Adventure' where you have to collect the treasures. Being on a micro, and not the mainframe it was originally intended for, this game lacks the same size of the original, but retains the same minimal location definitions. It is nice and colourful though.

You get transported into a Pirate ship, and have to search out treasure island. Not a bad one this, very entertaining, with lots of nice descriptions.

You have to go on a secret mission, more of the same really, if you like the others you'll like this.

This one is written by Scotts Wife, Alexis, and is not as good as most of the other games. It suffers mainly because of a lack of description in the rooms. You don't really get a feeling of going about a task, which is supposed to be to escape from the castle, and there are just too many objects to know what to do with.

Quite an interesting little adventure, you are trapped in the castle of the Count Dracula, and have to escape, but when it is night time he appears and puts you back to bed, not before sucking your blood of course. You can only have this done a few times before you die.

A poor game, this is set in a Space ship, and you are in space. You have to get out of the space ship, and away from it. Again this game suffers from a lack of detail in the room descriptions, but it is nice and fast at moving between rooms, something which some other adventures suffer from.

Adventure game set in a funfair fun house, has the usual 2-word parser and isnt too complexed, one of the more average games of the series.

Another bland adventure, this time set in the land of the Pharoahs, Egypt. This is not a particularly good game either, again it has no desctiption on the rooms, and is quite small. I suppose these games are nicely laid out, with colouring, and a separate screen section for the room description, but they just have no atmosphere.

Escape from the ghost town, its not really all that interesting when there's another 14 games here which could be the same one with different locations and objects.

This game is not written by any of the recognised Adventuresoft authors, a team of 3, Mike Woodroffe, Graham Lilley and Teoman Irmak. This one is all about a temple which you find after being chased by pirates, it uses a different style the Scott Adams and Mysterious Adventure games, it is slightly more descriptive.
